Завершилась многодневная гонка Тур Пекина, победителем которой стал бельгийский гонщик Филипп Жильбер из протуровской команды BMC. UCI опубликовал итоговый рейтинг по результатам сезона 2014 года. В личном зачете первое место с 686 очками занял испанский гонщик Алехандро Вальверде из команды Movistar. В рейтинге команд на 1-м месте, как и в прошлом году, испанская команда Movistar. В рейтинге по странам, в который уже раз, первое место уверенно достается Испании.
